Facebook Client Solutions Manager - 11 Month STE in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Summary:

Facebook is seeking a Client Solutions Manager (CSM) to join our Global Marketing Solutions team for 11 months. Based in Amsterdam, the CSM will be part of our Travel team. The CSM will work on a number of high profile travel accounts, which are operating multi-channel, across countries and combine both brand and performance marketing on the Facebook platforms. One of them is a key global travel account, that offers big potential and needs extensive support. We are looking for a strategic and enthusiastic solution-driver who puts customers at the core of everything. This person has a passion for marketing and business development, and a firm belief that the future of marketing is identity-based, data-driven and grounded in measurable outcomes. With proven understanding of online brand and performance marketing on Facebook and Instagram, the CSM is responsible to drive revenue by advising on campaigns on Facebook platforms, negotiating and optimizing the advertising solutions, and uses data and analytics to build consultative advice for our customers. The CSM works in close collaboration with a client partner, jointly operating as a strong business team and trusted advisor towards our clients. Success in this position requires a high level of consultative and analytical skills (campaign analytics, dashboarding, ad solution optimization), with focus on client development. The CSM must be solution-oriented, with curiosity and the ability to drive impact in a dynamic, team-focused environment, while moving fast against challenging deadlines. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, yet strategic individual. We look for an ‘enabler’ mentality and the ability to establish strong partnerships with clients and their agencies– both in terms of culture and business outcomes – in a constantly changing environment with high expectations. This position will be based in our Amsterdam office reporting into the Industry Manager for Travel.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead and develop key account in travel

  2. Build and manage relationships within the clients and with agency partners (media, creative, marketing partners

  3. Solid understanding of (Digital) Marketing, Technology, and accompanying Facebook advertising solutions

  4. Experience in ad tech/online marketing technologies and understanding on how to implement them for an effective and efficient marketing strategy

  5. Drive product adoption

  6. Capability to work in equal partnerships with client partners, identifying, creating, and implementing marketing solutions grounded on achieving measurable business results for our business partners

  7. Innovation-based solution perspective, building on client needs

  8. Radar for lighthouse innovation opportunities, with focus on projects that unlock new sources of revenue

  9. Strong profiling as external advisor, educating clients and agencies on product solutions and best practices, and ultimately grow existing business partnerships

  10. Ability to translate business objectives into campaign strategy, proposing campaign structures and implementing measurement solutions (actionable insights, translate results into recommendations

  11. Consulting skills towards clients and agencies in the field of planning, execution, ongoing reporting and optimization of campaigns

  12. Highly developed data analytics skills, translating data into insights to guide strategy and implementation of Facebook solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years’ experience in marketing, media and/or consulting role

  2. Knowledge of the marketing industry and business development trends within marketing

  3. Understanding of both brand marketing and online (performance) marketing and major advertising success metrics

  4. Knowledge of and passion for digital marketing and accompanying Facebook solutions

  5. Good travel industry and customer knowledge, experience in the Travel industry is preferred

  6. Experience in working effectively with cross functional teams and across different levels of senior management (internally and externally)

  7. Experience with analyzing datasets delivering upon actionable insights required, advanced Excel skills preferred

  8. Strong project management, communication and prioritization skills and internal/external partner management

  9. Ability to communicate, collaborate and work effectively in an experienced team

  10. Ability to confidently present to external clients and decisionmakers

  11. Natural confidence and strong presence towards decision makers

  12. Collaborative by nature, in working with a highly diverse group of cross functional teams, internally and externally

  13. Strong passion for Technology and Facebook mission

  14. Fluency in English required

  15. Willing to travel (20%)
