Community Operations' Learning team focuses on improving the health of our products through highly innovative training and performance support solutions. Those who join our teams are very passionate about solving people’s issues, and are strong advocates for the Facebook community.

We are looking for a Learning Solution Architect to help increase on-the-job performance by performing diagnostic/needs analysis and overseeing the ideation and development of blended learning solutions that address specific needs across global CO. The Learning Solution Architect will also support various cross-functional teams to ensure that our learning solutions are innovative, aligned with the needs of our business, and achieve measurable impact. The ideal candidate will be a creative solver of business problems and policy adoption through the lenses of education, have a strong and proven track record of understanding current/emerging trends in the corporate learning space including digital delivery, coaching models and performance support. The Learning Solution Architect will be part of a growing learning team that supports onboarding programs and training for outsourcing sites.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner with teams across Facebook to perform diagnostics that identify training need areas

  2. Design innovative learning solutions and lead special projects in response to need areas including classroom, digital delivery, performance support, and coaching models

  3. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously

  4. Serve as an advisor to the business on behalf of the CO learning organization and build relationships with our people and internal clients as a way to get to know how to best meet their needs

  5. Consult with other internal training teams to share best practices and ensure continuity across multiple programs and teams

  6. Conduct design “hack” sessions and identify learning objectives while identifying which blend of solutions are most appropriate given a specific scenario

  7. Role requires 30% travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 7+ years experience in a learning & development function

  3. Experience with innovative learning and performance support solutions

  4. Experience performing training needs assessments, designing and implementing classroom, digital, and blended learning solutions through authoring tools and media such as graphics, audio, video, animation, and embedded performance support

  5. Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders.

  6. Experience applying learning effectiveness measures to validate that a given solution achieved desired outcomes

  7. Experience working with Learning Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree in Business, Instructional Design, or related field

  2. MBA or Masters in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field

  3. Experience delivering learning solutions within the tech industry

  4. Experience working with outsourcing sites/offshore providers

  5. Experience working directly with Operations and/or Customer Support teams' learning challenges

  6. Experience with policy-related training material

  7. Presenter/speaker experience at learning industry conferences
