Summary:

Facebook is seeking an experienced Logistics Business Analyst to support EMEA infrastructure and to enable stakeholders to have the right part at the right place at the right time. The successful candidate will proactively identify and mitigate material shortages, along with building and maintaining stakeholder relationships through strong operating mechanisms and system support, while maintaining strong partnerships with sourcing teams. This role requires knowledge and experience with spares planning, inventory management, basic system support, distribution and transportation.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage all materials related to network deployment activities to ensure timely project launch.

  2. Activities include material planning, working with sourcing for ordering, arranging shipments, tracking deliveries and data analytics

  3. Manage exceptions and priorities while communicating with and engaging stakeholders

  4. Consolidate BOM information and provide status updates to stakeholders

  5. Collaborate with warehouse and transportation team to ensure successful delivery

  6. Manage systems setup to support material flows for new site start-ups

  7. Manage systems exceptions providing resolution or triage to speed up fixes for cross functional partners

  8. Manage system transactions such as virtual receipts and materials uploads

  9. Maintain and execute inventory replenishment model

  10. Maximize inventory efficiency and reconcile inventory when needed. Support supply demand reconciliation

  11. Maintain data integrity across multiple systems and identify and resolve inconsistencies

  12. Manage task queue to triage and resolve issues and engage with cross-functional teams as needed for resolution

  13. Work with internal business groups to acquire a deep understanding of their processes and operations

  14. Responsible for proactive implementation of enhancements/modifications as they relate to long term strategies and short-term tactical initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, SCM, Management Information Systems or related field

  2. 5+ years experience in Logistics, inventory management, or operations management building scalable process and tools

  3. Prior experience with inventory and materials management a big plus

  4. High attention to details and ability to scrutinize for quality response for the stakeholders

  5. Enjoys operating in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints.

  6. Proven interpersonal skills, comfortable with maneuvering different modes of communication to extract information

  7. Customer support focused with a desire to understand what customers want and capable to meet or exceed these needs. This requires effective communication.

  8. Experience in data analytics and capable of inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making

  9. Experience working in operations or operations tooling/ticketing systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Subject matter expertise in inventory planning, supply chain, NPI, service operations.

  2. Experience in program management, problem solving, analysis, vendor management.
