Market Operations' focus is on supporting our users through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions, and on improving the health of our products by helping people understand how to use them in accordance to our Community Standards to keep the platform safe. The Market Operations team is seeking a resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, collaborative and a proven team player. This position is full time and is based in our Dublin, Ireland office.

Required Skills:

  1. As a Market Specialist, be aware of current market events and typical user behavior in the ESLA market

  2. Measure and analyse key business metrics to improve our enforcement of Advertising and Community Standards and increase Facebook’s accountability towards our community of users

  3. Gather market specific insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis of benign and abusive content on Facebook and Instagram and use it to develop scalable solutions to support our global Facebook community

  4. Communicate market specific insights to cross-functional partners to collaborate and improve our policies, processes and tools

  5. Assist vendors to recognize the impact of policy changes on the team’s current work and surface gaps in policy, process, and tools

  6. Partner with vendors to ensure that performance feedback is being passed on to relevant teams and proactively track the impact and success of remediation plans

  7. Liaise closely with our vendors to ensure all operational and business KPIs meet and exceed targets

  8. Use your problem-solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems

  9. Become and remain knowledgeable about Facebook products and Advertising and Community Standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Currently has or is in the process of studying for a Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree

  2. Fluency in English and Spanish are essential to business standard

  3. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  4. Ability to effectively communicate and work in collaboration with teams

  5. Self-starting, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience within operations, project management, consulting, or equivalent environment

  2. Experience gathering and analyzing data to influence business decisions
