Summary:

Market Operations' focus is on supporting our users through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions, and on improving the health of our products by helping people understand how to use them in accordance to our Community Standards to keep the platform safe. Those who join our teams are very passionate about solving people’s issues, and are strong advocates for the Facebook community. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms. If you like helping people, Market Operations is for you. The Market Operations team is seeking a solution oriented individual, who is passionate about driving changes that bring real impact. We value people who can drive the discussion, utilizing micro and macro level insights to influence key stakeholders and deliver change for our community. We're targeting an intellectually curious and creative individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity — a strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. This position is full time and is based in our Dublin, Ireland office.

Required Skills:

  1. Use market specific knowledge, signals and insights to identify and scope scalable solutions to improve the experience of our community of users in the United Kingdom & Ireland market

  2. Investigate and resolve issues that are reported on Facebook such as requests for account support and reports of potentially abusive content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material

  3. Gather and analyse relevant data by interpreting reports, dashboards and presentations

  4. Develop ways to improve the overall user experience on our platforms by improving our processes, tools and policies

  5. Identify and lead end-to-end operational improvement opportunities and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives

  6. Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams through risk assessment and quality assurance to drive projects to success

  7. Use your problem-solving skills to resolve large and complex business problems

  8. Remain up to date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates and our Community Standards

  9. Using market insights, drive qualitative and quantitative analysis to put forward scalable solutions, influence key teams to deliver the change and validate its success post- implementation

  10. Become and remain knowledgeable about Facebook products/tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Currently has or is in the process of studying for a Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree

  2. Fluency in English are essential to business standard

  3. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  4. Ability to effectively communicate and work in collaboration with teams

  5. Self-starting, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience within operations, project management, consulting, or equivalent environment

  2. Experience gathering and analyzing data to influence business decisions
