Facebook Application Product Manager, Collaboration in Fremont, California

Facebook’s Enterprise Collaboration Tools team is responsible for the productivity of Facebook Employees. The team is seeking an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking PM to identify, design and implement efficient and effective solutions to meet the demands of the workforce. As a valued member of the Enterprise organization, this person will focus on all aspects of our collaboration tools suite including real time document collaboration, document storage, Project Management tools and any other tools used to improve information collaboration. This is a full-time position based in our Fremont office.

Required Skills:

  1. Determine the best available products to use for the employee population for their specific use cases, based on competitive analysis and consultation with internal stakeholders

  2. Collect internal requirements from various teams and work to find the right solutions. Narrow down to a specific vendor/solution and work with Purchasing to finalize the contract

  3. Analyze users issues and report on bugs and architect solutions that will fit the Facebook infrastructure collaborating with our security teams and other Infrastructure teams

  4. Own the internal deployments of tools including: roll-out strategy, communication plan, training and enablement of internal teams

  5. Create dashboards using existing internal tools to understand adoption and feature usage which will lead to roadmap decisions

  6. Collaborate with internal security teams to make sure all applications meet our security guidelines

  7. Work with internal engineers to build integrations with these collaboration tools and Facebook products where possible to streamline workflows

  8. Work to migrate off declining tools, manage communication and process for migration

  9. Work with the internal helpdesk team to ensure they are aware of product issues and they are working with the vendors to remediate those issues. Train the helpdesk to respond to issues correctly

  10. Be the subject matter expert for all features of applications we support, be on top of new features and functionality and evangelize to users

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience managing collaboration tools e.g. Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Quip, Workplace, Slack, Dropbox, Google Docs, or any other Project Management tool in an Enterprise environment with more than 1,000 users

  2. 4+ years experience designing and implementing solutions in the collaboration space

  3. 2+ years experience creating and defining dashboards and tracking products metrics using tools like Tableau, Excel or Power BI

  4. Experience communicating and working with users across teams and functions and to the entire company

  5. 5+ years experience in a Product Management, Solution Architect or another similar role

  6. 2+ years experience working with end users and performing user research to inform product decisions

  7. Experience working with minimal daily guidance

  8. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or Info systems or related field
