Facebook Client Partner, Travel in Gurgaon, India

Facebook is seeking a Client Partner to evangelize and monetise Facebook’s emerging advertising solutions to large advertisers, publishers/broadcasters and their agencies in Travel. The individual contributor position reports to Vertical Head, Travel and FinServ and works closely with a Client Solutions Manager to drive solutions and monetization. The ideal candidate with 10 years of work experience in Sales/Marketing within Travel/Internet industry. Media industry experience in sales or Marketing will be a plus. The candidate is expected to personally lead conversations with CMOs/Products head of the Client Organisation as well as the media/agency teams. Industry understanding, Deep Analytical skills, Priority management, Stakeholder management and the ability to reach and influence decision-makers, and a strong ‘can-do’ spirit that drives a self-starter are a must. Collaborative cross-functional influencing everyday, and a passion for Facebook and the evolving digital ecosystem are critical for success here. This position is located in our Gurgaon office.

Required Skills:

  1. Analyse and understand industry variables and articulate role of Facebook in client’s marketing/business objectives

  2. Prospect and partner with agencies and organizations and by building relationships with key decision makers

  3. Create and deliver compelling Facebook proposition using client industry knowledge, market trends, and case studies to clearly communicate the Facebook platform value proposition and inspire action

  4. Understand and drive adoption of key marketing research tools that help clients understand impact of Facebook

  5. Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service, and be the voice of the vertical in the organisation

  6. Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality output everyday

  7. Exceed sales, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, and pricing and yield goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management and Alliances/B2B sales

  2. Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals/business goals

  3. Resilience to drive agenda in the face of objections

  4. Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential

  5. Knowledge of media, online advertising and agencies is a plus

  6. Ready to travel weekly for short durations

  7. Experience within Travel/Internet industry is preferred

  8. Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  9. Interest in technology/digital media/online trends and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms
