The APAC Media Partnerships team is seeking an experienced executive to develop, execute and maintain relationships with our key Entertainment partners in Indonesia and Malaysia. Strategic Partnerships Managers are the face of Facebook to our external relationships and get to work with some of the world’s largest and most exciting entertainment companies such as TV Network, Production Houses, and Digital Publisher. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will ensure that these relationships meet the strategic objectives of partners and Facebook, working directly with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Communications to serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  1. Identify strategic partners, drive strategies to scale product adoption and product features for media companies TV stations, Production Houses, and Digital Publishers

  2. Proactively develop unique partnership opportunities related to video content and product adoption

  3. Represent Facebook in external meetings with media companies and ability to understand need of partners to drive the ecosystem

  4. Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships

  5. Become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct executive relationships with Facebook’s key partners

  6. Proactively resolve business issues with partners

  7. Be an internal advocate for the partners and work with internal crossed functions, including across Sales, Marketing, and Communication

  8. Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that Facebook is taking partner input into account in relevant product and policy decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Fluent in English language

  2. BA/BS degree or above with outstanding academic performance

  3. 12+ years’ experience, including 5 years of related product or partnership or consultancy experience

  4. Proven track record of driving partnership strategy, preferably at a media or consultancy company or consumer Internet Company, among a diverse set of industries including consulting or client servicing

  5. Network relation with deep local insight of media landscape in the market

  6. Excellent project management experience, with the ability to take lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects across time zones

  7. Understanding of Facebook products and social media landscape especially on entertainment vertical

  8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues

  9. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans

  10. Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally

  11. Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  12. Strong record of being a team player and managing and leading cross functions projects
