Summary:

As part of a team of eDiscovery attorneys, professionals, data scientists, and project leads, you will focus on discovery/disclosure efforts in the various phases of preserving, extracting, processing, reviewing and producing company data. This position plays a key role and is responsible for partnering with inhouse and outside counsel in all phases of litigation and regulatory matters, investigations, and all other matters requiring the preservation, identification, collection, processing, and production of data. This position will be based full time in our London office. In your role as a Technical Operations professional, you will provide overall guidance and recommend best practices for extracting, processing, and filtering data in a defensible manner. This position is responsible for delivering technology related client services in the areas of data mapping and documentation, forensic data collections, data extraction, data processing, data review, as well as digital and forensic analysis. Our TechOps Lead will be responsible for managing all existing legal tools as well as evaluating alternative tools in the marketplace. He/she should also have a working knowledge of the laws that govern discovery and should be prepared to testify on the Company’s behalf relating to the defensibility of our processes during discovery disputes.

Required Skills:

  1. Perform imaging of computers, mobile phones and other devices

  2. Create and maintain a master data repository and leverage previously collected and produced data

  3. Single point of contact/interface with outside counsel firms in order to execute processes throughout the EDRM lifecycle of legal matters

  4. Create and maintain repository of data in order to track evidence and knowledge

  5. Manage eDiscovery data processing and production specifications for external vendors

  6. Evaluate efficient and cost effective use of Company resources

  7. Consult with case teams to develop and implement eDiscovery project plans and technical strategies

  8. Support the Company’s Data Security initiatives by utilizing forensic investigation technologies

  9. This position reports into legal but constantly communicates with members of the Company, outside vendors and staff. Employee must be able to confidently and accurately communicate in both written and verbal form

  10. Collect and analyze data from a variety of electronic media, including desktops, laptops, cell phones, tablets, cloud based repositories and collaboration tools

  11. Monitor and research emerging eDiscovery technology tools and make recommendation on process improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree and at least two (2) years experience with legal technologies, preferably in a corporate, eDiscovery service provider

  2. Must be proficient with eDiscovery platforms such as, Recommind, Nuix, Google Vault,Legal Hold Pro and Proofpoint

  3. Previous experience testifying in support of eDiscovery processes a plus

  4. Exposure to EnCase/ FTK and other forensic collection technology tools (certification a plus)

  5. Proficiency working with SQL data types or other database applications a plus

  6. Previous experience with Cellebrite and Physical Analyzer in imaging and extracting data

  7. Ability to operate Linux based OS and similar Command Line Inteface applications

  8. Scripting experiences (Python, PHP, Perl) a plus
