Facebook New Business Development Manager in London, United Kingdom

The New Business Development role, reporting to the Head of New Business Development for EMEA, will look to initiate and lead exploratory talks to drive new business opportunities with the partners that will drive the next wave of innovation and impact for clients.

Additionally, the role will drive influence with partners on new product solutions and integrations. When opportunities are ready to scale, this role will manage the transition of these partner relationships to the partner management team. This role requires an experienced business development and partnerships professional who is a self-starter and passionate about partners, products and people.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop an understanding of the ecosystem of partners that will enable client success on the Facebook platform for a particular vertical or designated area

  2. Identify and prioritize partners through combination of quantitative and qualitative factors

  3. Become an expert on each target’s organization, business model, and strategic priorities

  4. Develop a portfolio of different levers to help develop mutually beneficial relationships with partners to accelerate growth and maximize client value

  5. Identify business and product value exchange for Facebook and partners manage partnerships to deliver results, and build strong long-term partner relationships

  6. During the exploration phase, serve as ongoing relationship manager for the partnerships you complete, helping to realize and optimize value from the partnership

  7. Identify innovative solutions in the market through expertise on partners’ capabilities

  8. Initiate and lead exploratory talks to drive new business opportunities and product growth initiatives with key partners in designated ecosystems working with product growth, regional partner management, legal, solutions engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders as required

  9. Influence partners to develop new solutions and drive new product integration and adoption by our partners’ ecosystem

  10. Help define partnership/market requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of product/program performance, aggregate feedback, and explore new strategic opportunities

  11. Manage transition plan to partner management when ecosystem is ready to scale

  12. Represent Facebook in external meetings with executives, both internally and externally

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in business development or business strategy

  2. Problem solving and analysis experience with experience solving business problems, individually or in a group setting

  3. Ability to design and execute mutually beneficial relationships to maximize value to the ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree

  2. Advanced degree such as an MBA, or equivalent relevant experience.

  3. Experience in consumer tech and/or digital advertising space
