Facebook Publisher Development Manager in Los Angeles, California

The Publisher Development Manager will be responsible for owning and driving revenue for their assigned book of business through adoption of new formats, features, and products.

Required Skills:

  1. Build and grow deep, strategic partnerships with existing publisher and publishing group clients using Facebook's ad technology and monetization solutions

  2. Develop and strengthen relationships with key publisher stakeholders to unlock revenue opportunities across multiple facets of publisher's business

  3. Apply relationships, research, and market analysis to proactively understand business and commercial strategy for a short-list of Facebook's strategic publisher customers

  4. Achieve defined revenue goals through the expansion of Facebook and Audience Network's publisher product set by uncovering and solving publisher business needs

  5. Drive quarterly business reviews with executives in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  6. Leverage cross-functional Facebook resources, including product stakeholders, to maintain a comprehensive understanding of Facebook's ad tech portfolio

  7. Working in collaboration with sales, product management and technical operations teams to ensure publishers' business is serviced to a high standard

  8. Deliver and execute both, new agreements with current publisher customers and renegotiation of existing publisher contracts

  9. Work with internal Facebook teams to ensure that Facebook core and Audience Network products are holistically pitched to publisher

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 5+ years of sales, product development and/or business development experience working with publisher ad operations and revenue teams within the online advertising market

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Ability to win the support of key stakeholders

  2. Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals

  3. Proven success in business development, client relationship and solution-based selling

  4. Demonstrated industry thought-leadership experience

  5. Outstanding business communication skills, including strong presentation skills

  6. Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including an understanding of ad serving technology, exchanges, SSPs, DSPs and content management systems

  7. Demonstrated industry thought-leadership
