Facebook Critical Facility Manager in Luleå, Sweden

Facebook is seeking a Critical Facility Manager to join our Data Center Operations team. Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our software operates to meet the demands of our customers. The data center Critical Facility Manager will work with the management team to facilitate operating and maintaining the data center. The candidate will need to be experienced in diverse industries such as electrical generation, electrical distribution, cooling technologies and fire suppression systems. This person must be highly motivated with the ability to supervise others. This position is full-time and will be based at the data center in Luleå, Sweden. The interview process for this role will start late August.

Required Skills:

  1. CFE shift staff: Provide direction and management, review work, support delivery of training, and provide performance feedback, collaborate with facilities managers to develop the facilities team

  2. Support the creation, review and approval of Critical Environment (CE) procedures

  3. Ensure adherence to Facebook Safety Policy and Procedures

  4. Oversee Computerized Maintenance Management System usage and reporting

  5. Serve as first point of escalation for operational incidents

  6. Back-up the Critical Operations Manager as point of contact for clients and project teams

  7. Systematically work with development of safe work environment

  8. Maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal and external clients

  9. Respond to customer service requests

  10. Manage maintenance schedule and tasks in accordance with Facebook Safety Policy and Procedures

  11. Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions

  12. Review and approve suggested troubleshooting, evaluate and recommend system upgrades

  13. Review spare parts orders and supplies for maintenance and repairs

  14. Solicit proposals and approvals for outsourced work

  15. Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Facebook standards

  16. Manage all maintenance operations to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.

  17. Review operational performance and KPIs

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.

  2. 3+ years experience in critical facilities operations required.

  3. 5+ years experience in a data center or other Critical Environment preferred.

  4. Trade Certification or state license in Electrical or Mechanical (HVAC) preferred.
