As a Brand Operations Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape some of the most important and highly visible work within the Consumer Marketing organization. You will be responsible for creating and implementing structure, processes, creative reviews and operating models to ensure the organization runs effectively and we deliver high quality campaigns. As an operations manager, you will also have experience managing resources and ensuring that budgets are being utilized effectively and creative quality goals are met.

The ideal candidate will take pride in executional excellence, gets excited about creative problem solving, is detail-oriented and a prioritization pro. Excellent strategic and communication skills are critical, as well as a willingness to dig in and roll up their sleeves. This individual will partner closely with other functional teams within Marketing, cross-functional teams across the company, as well as external creative and media agencies.

This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, California.

Required Skills:

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the WhatsApp global marketing team Manage the end-to-end marketing development and approvals process for global marketing campaigns

  2. Work closely with brand and product marketing managers, agencies and cross functional partners in managing all operational aspects of our global campaigns including workflow, timelines, asset development, and budget tracking

  3. Manage the end to end marketing development and approvals process for global marketing campaigns

  4. Facilitate relationships between teams by moving process forward, planning and assigning resources, reworking schedules, raising concerns to appropriate owners early and identifying and resolving open issues that prevent progress

  5. Liaise with cross-functional teams as needed to clarify scope of work, goals, timelines and priorities to align work against business goals

  6. Balance multiple high-priority assignments and allocations for the marketing department, across both internal and external teams

  7. Ruthlessly prioritize and ensure the marketing organization and resources are focused on strategic objectives

  8. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and keep accurate and detailed records for every project. Provide feedback to the marketing and creative teams to establish project priorities and communicate milestones and deadlines

  9. Synthesize information into cogent summaries for executives that drive fruitful discussion and timely decision-making

  10. Advocate for the resources, infrastructure, processes, and prioritization required to execute your plans

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years experience in marketing or advertising

  2. Experience managing the operations of large teams at well known consumer brands or creative teams at advertising agencies

  3. Track record in project management experience including managing multiple work streams at once and working with cross functional teams

  4. A proven leader with displayed experience motivating and galvanizing teams around a single cause or goal

  5. Experience driving initiatives at both a strategic and executional level

  6. Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
