Facebook Consumer Product Marketing Manager in Menlo Park, California
Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Through our family of apps and services, we're building a different kind of company that connects billions of people around the world, gives them ways to share what matters most to them, and helps bring people closer together. Whether we're creating new products or helping a small business expand its reach, people at Facebook are builders at heart. Our global teams are constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower people around the world to build community and connect in meaningful ways. Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.
We're looking for a Consumer Product Marketing Manager, passionate about how people represent themselves and how they discover what’s happening on social media platforms, to join our Facebook Identity & Search marketing team. Areas of focus for our team include Public Profile Expression, Life Transitions and Search. Your specific responsibilities will be determined based on team priorities as well as your background and experience. When Facebook launched in 2004, the main way to interact with other people was to visit their profile. Today, it represents a large part of over 2 billion people's online identities. When something happens in the world, people often search Facebook to see how their friends and family are reacting and discover what the world is saying about topics that matter to you. Our Identity & Search product marketing team is responsible for global, end-to-end marketing of the experiences people have with these products. You will be responsible for helping to develop marketing research insights, launch new Facebook profile and search experiences, and develop and execute product awareness and adoption campaigns. You will closely partner with marketers and product teams to inform product development and drive go-to-market plans and launches. If you're analytical and creative, deeply care about product and consumers, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, then we'd love to meet you.
