Facebook Director, Alliance Strategy & Partnerships in Menlo Park, California

Facebook is seeking a results-driven Director to lead our Alliance Partnerships team. The Alliance Partnerships team is responsible for managing some of Facebook’s key relationships and is the primary point of contact for both our internal and external stakeholders. This position requires high levels of creativity, strategic thinking and leadership skills as you will be leading the team that identifies and drives some of our top initiatives while working cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Marketing and Legal teams. The position is full-time and based in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a small, growing team of professionals

  2. Develop the existing team and recruit new leaders into the organization

  3. Set and drive product strategy and new business opportunities with key partners, including top mobile companies, OS/platform providers, and other key ecosystem partners

  4. Work cross-functionally to lead strategy projects around long term product and partner strategy around key initiatives that span all Facebook properties

  5. Represent Facebook in external meetings with executives, both internally and externally

  6. Maintain direct and active relationships with executives at partner companies, serving as an escalation point of various issues

  7. Drive complex relationships to resolution through both internal and external communications

  8. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch products and partnerships

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 15+ years of work experience in product/platform, partnership or technical experience in consumer technology and mobile focused companies, including 5+ years of partner facing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or Masters’ Degree

  2. Proven track record of organizational leadership, recruiting, and developing talent

  3. Ability to define, develop and lead large programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  4. Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills – with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Facebook

  5. Executive presence

  6. Understanding of Facebook’s strategic and competitive position
