Facebook Director, Product Marketing AR\VR in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

In the AR\VR organization, we're building the next generation of devices and experiences that make people feel closer. This includes Oculus and Portal products, AR and VR software and content, and research and development labs.We’re looking for an experienced product marketing leader for VR and AR products. This person will be responsible for leading a team of product marketers and managers that influence product development and lead go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will be able to earn the trust of cross-functional partners in Product Management, Marketing, Sales, PR and other teams, and teach your product marketing team to do the same. The ability to coach your team on developing rigorous inbound analysis and large-scale cross-channel consumer marketing strategies will be critical to success in this role, as will your leadership contributions to build a healthy, resilient marketing organization for AR\VR.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a team of product marketers and managers, managing team performance and supporting career development and growth

  2. Influence future AR and VR product development with a customer-centric perspective

  3. Drive large-scale adoption and retention of our products, sharing goals with cross-functional partners

  4. Partner with Creative, Channel, and Integrated Marketing teams to ensure our marketing and measurement aligns with our business objectives

  5. Contribute to broader org health by supporting leadership initiatives of our CMO

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience

  2. 10+ years experience in a product marketing leadership or related role

  3. Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in consumer hardware in emerging categories

  2. 5+ years experience working on consumer technology brands/products

  3. Advanced qualifications in business and marketing strategy
