Summary:

The Financial Planning & Analysis team oversees our investments in headcount, operating expenses and capital investment. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry. Successful candidates for this team have a bias towards action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.

You will join the team that manages the finances for a new team exploring different ways to leverage blockchain technology to improve the lives of people around the world. It's a small, fast-growing, and talented group of people and our experienced leadership team comprised of some of the best professionals in their respective fields. The blockchain team is a startup within Facebook that is exploring lots of areas of interest across all facets of blockchain technology. You will be responsible for the creation, tracking, reporting and analysis of investments in operating expenses and headcount. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and interaction with management, as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing finance organization at Facebook. Required Skills:

  1. Create strong business partnerships across the blockchain team

  2. Participate in headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning

  3. Help business partners gain key insights into spending with meaningful and actionable analyses

  4. Build thoughtful resource allocation analyses to drive better investment decisions

  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams including purchasing, accounting, corporate finance

  6. Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of financial planning and analysis experience

  2. BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent

  3. Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning

  4. Experience in MS office and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Financials, SQL and dashboards

  2. Experience building cross-functional relationships and partnering with organizational leaders

  3. Analytical skills and experience with building business cases
