Meta Finance Manager, Infrastructure Data Center in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Meta is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Data Center Finance & Business Planning (FBP) team. FBP’s mission is to enable Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible. FBP brings an independent and objective perspective to the data and decisions that we support and always advocates for intellectual honesty. You will be responsible for supporting the Data Center team, which designs, builds, and operates our global data center infrastructure footprint for Meta. You will serve as the key liaison between Finance and the Data Center team and oversee issues related to data center strategy, design, cost profile, financial reporting & forecasting, and planning, i.e., resource prioritization and business management related to Meta’s multi-billion-dollar investments. With a deep understanding of the business levers underlying the operations of our Data Center team, you will be responsible for helping the business to drive toward well-informed decisions.

Required Skills:

Finance Manager, Infrastructure Data Center Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as one of the primary finance advisors for multiple operational & strategic groups responsible for executing Data Center strategy over a 10 year timeframe. Role includes various financial analyses focusing on both a short-term(1-2 years) and a long-term(8-10 years) timeframe.

  2. Partner with business to build cost effective and schedule optimized strategies for future data center projects

  3. Perform analyses to provide ad hoc decision support, create total cost of ownership frameworks and reviews of key financial metrics

  4. Lead FP&A activities for the business including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across CapEx, OpEx and headcount

  5. Drive reporting that includes financial performance, detailed reporting of key expense and other metrics, and executive level explanations of variances and trends

  6. Lead the preparation of financial analysis, commentary, and presentation materials for financial updates to finance leadership including the CFO

  7. Lead key initiatives to continuously improve and automate Meta’s financial controls and operations

  2. Experience building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior leadership of organizations

  3. Analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into useful information

  4. Communication skills to tailor messaging as needed for audiences of varying level of seniority and technical expertise

Public Compensation:

$142,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
