Facebook Financial Analyst, GMS in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Facebook is seeking a well-rounded, high energy, driven professional to join our Global Marketing Solutions (GMS) Finance & Business Operations team. In this role, you will help support the marketing and sales teams who are responsible for generating the majority of Facebook's revenue via ads served across our properties, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and more. You will be leading deliverables and projects that cross the various GMS functions and have the opportunity to build and improve key processes (enabling the GMS Finance team to scale) and work on ad-hoc projects to help leaders best allocate their resources.It's an exciting time to be at Facebook and this role will provide significant responsibility and opportunities to interact directly with GMS & Finance leadership. The position is full-time and located in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide business partners with actionable insights into business drivers, financial performance, and risks in the form of recurring executive reporting and adhoc analytical projects

  2. Support annual planning, quarterly close reporting and forecasting

  3. Drive process and reporting enhancements/automation, develop dashboards/tools, and collaborate across cross-functional stakeholders to help share and scale best practices

  4. Collaborate with global finance partners to ensure resources are used efficiently & responsibly to drive revenue growth

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  2. 3+ years experience working in an analytical field (i.e. Finance, Sales Finance, Investment Banking, Business Operations, Consulting, Corporate Strategy)

  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point & G Suite

  4. Experience developing Financial Models

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Hyperion Essbase

  2. Experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data

  3. Experience using programming or scripting languages such as R, Python, C++
