The successful candidate will be a thought leader with a proven record of leading global teams and delivering scalable, business-enabling services across the entire source-to-pay business process. Success in this role involves an ability to think big, partner effectively and execute nimbly in order to transform our finance source-to-pay organizational capability. In this newly created role, this leader will bring together our Global Finance Sourcing, Supplier Diversity and Procure-to-Pay teams and set a vision to scale our people, process and technology to support Facebook's continued growth. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), this is a high impact role with significant leadership accountability driving how we buy, engage, support, and manage vendors.

Required Skills:

  1. Define operating and strategic goals to scale our Finance Source-to-Pay and Supplier Diversity programs in support of Facebook's mission through secure, accurate and compliant service offerings

  2. Collaborate with our sourcing teams in infrastructure, hardware supply chain, talent, and marketing solutions, and manage indirect spend category functions on our enterprise approach to:

  3. Supplier strategy, third party spend planning and forecasting

  4. Supplier engagement related processes, tools, systems, controls and policies

  5. Manages business specific and enterprise supplier relationships to support business optimization of quality, speed, and price

  6. Category management strategies to support business

  7. Ongoing supplier and risk management for critical enterprise suppliers

  8. Ongoing Supplier Performance Management program (building, identification of supply base, and ongoing execution)

  9. Supplier Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, and Supplier Responsibility efforts and reporting

  10. Procure-to-Pay global business process including supplier master management and controls, Purchase requisitions life cycle and categorization, goods and services receipting, account payable and spend analytics

  11. Ensure secure and accurate transactions and reporting, fully compliant controls, GDPR and other jurisdictional requirements in every country in which we operate

  12. Grow the existing global team and direct outsourcing partners, talent location and technology investments

  13. Accelerate enterprise process adoption, and scale through usability and automation, advanced finance technologies, continuous monitoring and quality assurance in partnership with Enterprise Engineering (IT) and Security partners

  14. Define success measurements for the organization

  15. Develop reporting and communication strategies to elevate visibility of team and objectively assess performance

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree

  2. 15+ years of multi-disciplinary, public company and global experience including sourcing, procure-to-pay, business process outsourcing and vendor risk management

  3. Experience supporting an employee-buyer culture and growing the scale and influence of supplier diversity and responsibility programs

  4. Experience operating and scaling source-to-pay services transformation, systems implementation, acquisition integration and deployment of advanced finance technologies

  5. Experience working collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment

  6. Managerial experience aligning vision, goals and resources and delivering results

  7. Leadership experience with optimizing employee engagement and growth outlook, and communication experience
