Summary:

Facebook is looking for an experienced Instructional Design Lead to join the Facebook Blueprint team. Blueprint is global training program designed to educate advertisers, agencies, marketing partners, and small businesses on how to meet their business goals using the Facebook family of apps and services. The Blueprint team is entrepreneurial-minded and dedicated to delivering the ultimate learning experiences for partners across multiple channels. Our mission is to democratize scaled education for businesses big and small.The Instructional Design Lead will be a vital part of creating content for our current online (eLearning) and in-person (Live) environments. The individual will work with internal stakeholders to build interactive, high-impact training solutions and will manage a team of Instructional Designers. Required Skills:

  1. Work directly with partners and internal stakeholders to understand and characterize learning needs

  2. Craft an overall training plan that addresses audience’s needs and expectations

  3. Coach team members to increase their impact, develop their strengths and grow their careers

  4. Develop lightweight processes and workflows that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly

  5. Provide design and technical guidance on industry standard instructional design technologies

  6. Build relationships with cross-functional business partners, globally, to collaborate on skill gaps and learning priorities

  7. Design engaging, informative, and visually compelling content for a variety of audiences and delivery modes

  8. Develop high-quality impactful learning interventions and experiences in both web-based and instructor-led environments

  9. Continually work to ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date and in line with products and larger training goals and initiatives

  10. Manage a team of Instructional Designers

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Masters’ degree in Instructional Design, Education or related field

  2. 8+ years of experience in curriculum design or educational content development

  3. Experience managing and mentoring instructional designers

  4. Experience managing and delivering multiple projects at one time

  5. Consulting, relationship-management, and advocacy experience

  6. Interpersonal communication and problem-solving experience

  7. Experience in the design, development, implementation, and management of both online and instructor-led training solutions

  8. Experience evaluating the educational quality of training and providing executional feedback

  9. Visual design experience
