Facebook Logistics Portfolio & Capabilities Manager in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Looking for a seasoned Portfolio and Capabilities Manager to lead with functional and operational expertise to drive process improvement and new capability projects/programs for the Logistics and Fulfillment group. Looking for a lead who can analyze business problems and articulate a path forward to improve end-to-end logistics, fulfillment and trade compliance processes and systems.

Required Skills:

  1. Serves as a Program, Change and Process Manager for Logistics and Fulfillment.

  2. Identify and analyze key business performance gaps and communicate effectively to different levels of stakeholders to drive action and create implementable solutions.

  3. Works closely with cross-functional business and engineering about improvement opportunities/enhancements to drive initiatives and deliver results.

  4. Support creation of program & change management frameworks, processes and templates “right-sized” for speed, scale, and seamless implementation (throughout the program cycle: design, plan, implement, stabilize, transition, close, and after action).

  5. Support development and maintenance of a high-quality portfolio methodology to manage new capabilities and strategies.

  6. Collaborate to build a centralized, self-service repository for deliverables and completed documentation.

  7. Create training materials and documentation. Conduct training for new and existing team members.

  8. Conduct ongoing business process improvement initiatives. Ensure sustainability in new processes.

  9. Build and manage on-going workshops (within & between AR/VR and Facebook) to improve processes and leverage organizational expertise & bandwidth. Manage outputs to drive business results.

  10. Cross-functional collaboration and alignment within AR/VR and Facebook to drive communication, integrated planning and execution. Leverage organizational expertise and bandwidth.

  11. Support global AR/VR and FRL teams, as well as their affiliated satellites, through Program/Transition Management (PM/TM) to deliver business goals with measurable benefits.

  12. Work with teams within AR/VR, research and development and Facebook (including but not limited to: tax, trade, finance, procurement, security, legal, IT, trade-ops) to improve processes to scale the business in a sustainable way.

  13. Travel 25-50%.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years proven experience managing a portfolio, projects and programs within organizations

  2. Bachelors degree in Business or Liberal Arts

  3. 5+ years experience conducting process improvements and driving qualitative and quantitative analysis

  4. 5+ years transition management experience

  5. Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics and Fulfillment experience

  6. Analytics and business case experience

  7. Experience conducting cross-functional workshops

  8. Knowledge of end-to-end business process and operations and experience identifying and understanding issues, risks, and opportunities

  9. Presentation experience

  10. Problem solving experience

  11. Experience in MS OfficeSuite

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Start-up environment experience

  2. PM/TM Certification: CIPM, PmP, PgMP, PfMP

  3. LEAN certified
