Facebook Manager, Infrastructure Asset Management and Audits in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

This is a unique opportunity within the Business Process Controls team to lead Facebook’s Infrastructure Asset Management function that is the primary point of accountability for the lifecycle management of all Infrastructure hardware that support various operations. Included in this responsibility are development and maintenance of asset management policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements/metrics that enable the organization to manage risk and business performance objectives. You will provide vision and leadership to a team of program managers that support various infrastructure asset management programs including fixed asset audits, inventory audits, asset data integrity, master data management and system access controls. You will also lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of internal audit results for Infrastructure locations based on identified risks and operational requirements.

Business Process Controls team is chartered with the critical mission to ensure that sufficient process controls are established in all material management activities performed by IBOS. This is a team of process owners and program managers that perform several activities in their functional areas including continuous and ongoing stakeholder engagement, KPI management, risk mitigation, continuous improvement, design and implementation of scalable and efficient processes, developing roadmap, executing to roadmap and providing critical inputs to process automation. This role requires a full understanding of Infrastructure hardware asset management processes starting from asset intake to asset disposal, operational and system controls to ensure asset data integrity and knowledge of SOX.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a team of analysts and program managers, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports

  3. Establish and refresh policies and procedures for identifying and tracking Infrastructure hardware installed and stored globally

  4. Evaluate, design and implement asset management technology and processes that achieves highest degree of asset data accuracy

  5. Investigate and resolve asset data discrepancies to ensure System of Record accuracy at all times

  6. Develop scalable internal operational audit procedures to verify asset data accuracy at all Infrastructure locations

  7. Support external SOX audits in accordance with standards and expectations set forth by the Infra Compliance team

  8. Recommend improvements to processes and controls and develop a plan to address issues raised in internal and external audits

  9. Responsible for developing and maintaining scalable processes in a global environment to support various Infrastructure asset management programs including fixed asset audits, inventory audits, master data management and asset data integrity

  10. Responsible for partnering with various stakeholders including Accounting, Internal Audit, SOX Controls and Compliance teams to assess process strengths, proactively assess process risks and establish strong control measures for risk mitigation

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience.

  2. 5+ years experience managing a team.

  3. Experience in building a team through continual coaching and career growth opportunities.

  4. 10+ years of experience to hardware asset management, materials life cycle management, inventory management/controls, IT Audits or other work in the areas.

  5. 10+ years of experience collaborating with geographically distributed cross-functional teams to implement business processes in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in Supply chain management or operations, MBA

  2. Experience in logistics operations in a global high growth environment

  3. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, evaluating the design and effectiveness of processes and controls over system development/change management, logical and physical access, data integrity/accuracy/completeness

  4. Consulting experience providing IT audit services

  5. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  6. Proven ability to get results across multiple groups and disciplines

  7. Experience leading by example, creating a sense of energy, ownership, and personal commitment to the work

  8. Strong Bias for Action

  9. Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas

  10. Ability to create a culture where accountability, transparency and collaboration are the norm

  11. Tirelessly advocate for improvements to systems and processes that will benefit our business partners
