Required Skills:

Privacy Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Manage cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.

  2. Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and other information security/privacy stakeholders across the company, including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.

  3. Research and stay up to date with information security and data protection trends and will recommend improvements to consumer product teams and other privacy stakeholders.

  4. Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions related to Meta’s privacy review process.

  5. Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.

  6. Responsible for relationship building and collaboration within cross-functional teams, especially to facilitate collaboration on information security and privacy processes and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Computer Science, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or in an information systems-related occupation. Requires two years of experience in the following:

  2. Program management, strategy, management consulting, communications, operations privacy policies, or regulations

  3. Privacy or technology law

  4. Managing projects

  5. Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvements on a project

  6. Privacy or security risk evaluation of new products or features

  7. Working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functions

  8. Managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders

Public Compensation:

$197,217/year to $217,690/year + bonus + equity + benefits
