Summary:

Are you interested in being at the forefront of how Facebook is transforming the advertising industry? The Global Business Marketing team at Facebook is looking for an experienced marketer to join the Product Marketing Communications Team to work on marketing Facebook's video offering to advertisers. Experience working on product release communications materials a must. Experience with digital marketing and knowledge of the digital video landscape also critical.

This role requires the ability to collaborate with product leaders and marketers in ways that clarify a vision and ensure whole industries are moved to action by it. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across a broad range of topics and lead cross-functional teams are essential. In addition, we’re looking for someone with deep business acumen and the desire to transform how some marketers and advertisers of all sizes are using video to bring their ideas to life and conduct digital marketing to transform their businesses.

The successful candidate will have a breadth of functional experience in marketing communications, including strong content development and messaging skills, and the ability to develop both product release communications materials and strategic integrated marketing plans. Excellent marketing, communication and project management skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across globally distributed cross-functional teams. The candidate will need to use strategic-thinking to develop marketing programs and an impactful marketing plan working in a fast-paced, always-on environment.

Required Skills:

  1. Work with the Facebook Product Marketing team to understand new video advertising offerings and create compelling messaging and materials about those product releases for multiple audiences (Facebook sales team, advertisers, advertising agencies, etc.)

  2. Own the content strategy, message and materials development for Facebook’s video solution set for brands and agencies. Create inspiring content that shifts long-held perspectives at the highest levels the advertising industry. This could include PowerPoint decks, fact sheets, play books, digital campaigns and experiences, videos, newsletters and more

  3. Build concise and meaningful stories out of complex information to achieve specific objectives

  4. Work closely with global cross-functional teams to activate messages and drive product adoption

  5. Propose and execute novel ways of creating shared understanding within a topic or concept

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience in content strategy, product marketing, marketing communications, strategy consulting, public relations, or a related field

  2. Experience in content development and the development and execution of integrated marketing plans

  3. Experience synthesizing product features and client needs into stories

  4. Experience with digital marketing, specifically, knowledge of industry trends

  5. Experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. MBA

  3. Experience working in a start-up environment
