Summary:

Facebook is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Collaborative Ads team who is passionate about helping to build products to enable stronger partnerships between retailers and brands. The Product Marketing team is responsible for developing product strategy and leading global launch plans to bring new advertising products to market. This role is under the Solutions team and will help build, launch, and scale products that enable brands to partner with retailers who sell their products, and run performance marketing campaigns through their retail partners. The ideal candidate will have a track record of shaping product strategy and roadmaps, a strong understanding of the advertising market, and a strong understanding and vision for how we can better meet the needs of brands who would like to become more data-driven performance marketers. You will work most closely with product & engineering teams along with cross-functional partners like sales leadership, marketing, and partnership teams. You will conduct market-needs assessments and competitive research to influence product roadmaps, develop and execute global launch plans to bring ads products to market. The candidate must demonstrate a vision for mobile advertising, performance marketing (also known as direct response), exhibit problem solving, analytical, communication, and product positioning skills, thrive in ambiguous environment and drive impact across teams. This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.

Required Skills:

  1. Drive product strategy with Product Management and Engineering through leading market and competitive assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the view of the market and customers

  2. Aggregate, distill and prioritize product feedback from multiple customer, sales and partnership channels, and surface advertiser needs and market requirements to product, engineering, and design teams for new and existing advertising products

  3. Lead cross-functional efforts to test alpha and beta products and identify critical customer needs that must be met for a launch-ready product

  4. Lead cross-functional efforts to position and launch further Collaborative Ads solutions to customers

  5. Ensure of global coordination for growth efforts of driving more and deeper brand participation to Collaborative Ads and all product features and benefits are clearly articulated to customers and sales teams

  6. Guide cross-functional teams in developing internal/external communications, product documentation, and sales collateral

  7. Ensure the right level of alignment, consistency and flexibility in approach across global teams in an effort to scale impact while meeting market-specific needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. 3+ years work experience

  3. 2+ years experience working in a product marketing, strategy consulting, product strategy (working with sales and engineering leadership)

  4. Experience and knowledge of the brand advertising ecosystem and performance marketing

  5. Knowledge of the digital advertising and retail/ecommerce ecosystems

  6. Experience in contributing at both strategic and operational levels
