Summary:

Our Product Partnerships team is looking for a leader that will grow and mentor a high-performing global team that is responsible for building an ecosystem program focused on driving Commerce and Ads on Facebook. As a manager of the team, you will manage individuals who will be working with a wide range of e-commerce technology providers (for e.g. Commerce Platforms, Product Feed Management, Marketplaces). You will lead the team to identify and prioritize new business initiatives and drive product integrations to enable Commerce and Advertising experiences on our platform. In addition, your team will lead cross-functional efforts that includes working closely with product, engineering, partner management, business development and data science teams.

You will make an impact on a global scale working with a team that solves big problems for Facebook’s fastest growing partner ecosystem. To be successful in the role, you will be a well-rounded 'business athlete’ – a people leader and mentor, an analytical problem solver, who understands the marketing tech landscape, as well as a dynamic leader in complex cross-functional environments and with partners. This position is located in Menlo Park and New York.

Required Skills:

  1. Hire, lead and mentor a team of product partnership management professionals

  2. Work in a highly cross-functional environment to build an end-to-end Commerce and Ads program that deploy our services through partners, from product conception to implementation to marketing and go-to-market

  3. Lead your team to incubate new initiatives to grow our commerce and advertising business and product adoption

  4. Identify innovative solutions in the market through expertise on partners capabilities and influence partners to develop such solutions

  5. Develop deep relationships with key cross-functional partners and leaders across the company and coordinate with working teams (e. g. product, product marketing, engineering, business development, marketing, human resources sales planning/operations and finance)

  6. Remain current with media and technology trends, particularly in Commerce and digital ad evolution

  7. Project manage cross-functional initiatives, drive successful product alpha/beta programs, launches and communications and materials (including posts and best practices) with partners globally (e.g., set a plan, deadlines, and ensure timely deliverables)

  8. Represent Facebook in external meetings with seasoned executives, both internally and externally

  9. Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in product management, partnerships, business development or business strategy

  2. Proven track record for managing performing teams

  3. Bachelors Degree

  4. Knowledge of organizational dynamics, operating experience with cross-functional organizations

  5. People and team leadership experience coupled with project management experience

  6. Experience learning and shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree such as an MBA

  2. Experience in and understanding of the Commerce Landscape

  3. Deep knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology

  4. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
