Facebook Program Manager - Partnerships in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a technical and product-oriented background and who is knowledgeable and passionate about mobile platforms. As a Program Manager in the Partnership team, you will play a key role with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure a smooth go-to-market process for our products. To be successful, you must have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, and developing and executing against global launch plans. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills and a natural ability to manage fast-changing and undefined situations. This is a full-time position based in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage cross-functional platform programs by working with development teams, business teams and external partners

  2. Create and manage effective, scalable processes to manage go-to-market process for product/engineering teams on core supported platforms

  3. Handle a number of simultaneous projects, demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive projects to completion and be successful in a collaborative environment

  4. Perform risk management, communicate status and big picture to the team and management

  5. Provide day-to-day coordination of tasks and their dependencies across the team, cross-functional team and external partners

  6. Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps, across multiple teams and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with company mission and goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

  2. 5+ years of tech industry experience and 3+ years of program management experience

  3. Knowledge of software and hardware development processes

  4. Experience working with external technology vendors and partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Technical background

  2. Demonstrated critical thinking capabilities

  3. Strong communication, organizational, management and people skills
