Facebook Sourcing Analyst in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

We are seeking a Sourcing Analyst that will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing Managers to manage the sourcing activities in the Facilities and Construction related spend categories.This position is located in Menlo Park, CA.The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and facilities operations background. Construction experience also a plus. The Sourcing Analyst will support the Strategic Sourcing Managers with Facilities Sourcing activities and will help Facebook to scale by evaluating existing services and identifying new sources.

Required Skills:

  1. Collaborate effectively with other team members and internal teams to help advance and support Transportation, Construction, Culinary, Physical Security, and Facilities Management initiatives.

  2. Support sourcing projects, including managing competitive bids, RFx, examining proposals, analyzing bids, etc.

  3. Analyze spend and other data, manage benchmarking and reporting, including presenting them in both quantitative and qualitative formats.

  4. Build and analyze complex pricing models based on Sourcing Manager and Stakeholder requirements.

  5. Ability to quickly understand multiple, complex streams of information and to be able to present it in simple, clear and concise terms.

  6. Assist with researching suppliers and products to improve supply chain.

  7. Use tools like Oracle, Tableau, Excel, and other internal tools.

  8. Provide training to end users on Sourcing tools.

  9. Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people and data.

  10. Demonstrate initiative and strong attention to detail.

  11. Support special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or contracting.

  2. Bachelors’ degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management.

  3. Experience prioritizing and using available tools to be productive and manage volumes.

  4. Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience.

  5. Interpersonal experience.

  6. Oracle experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Facilities experience preferred.

  2. Highly motivated, resourceful and able to think clearly under pressure.

  3. Ability to flourish in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity.
