Meta Technical Program Manager, Privacy Infrastructure in Menlo Park, California

We are looking for candidates that share our passion for tackling complexity head-on, to help build Privacy infrastructure platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role within Privacy Infra engineering, driving programs and projects that span the organization. Our team is comprised of varying levels of experience and backgrounds. Relevant experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. Meta's infrastructure is constantly redefining what is possible, and we need technical program managers that can do the same. In this role, you will play a key role within the Privacy Infrastructure organization, helping teams plan and deliver tools and solutions to thousands of engineers within Meta to make Privacy a more seamless, efficient and effective part of our engineering process. This team is seeking a person with a strong technical background, preferably one that has experience building and using developer tools, data tools and privacy tools, as well as a passion for making tools that scale.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager, Privacy Infrastructure Responsibilities:

  1. Manage cross-functional developer infrastructure software engineering programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas.

  2. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.

  3. Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

  4. Perform risk management and change management on projects.

  5. Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.

  6. Communicate project status to stakeholders and teams around the organization.

  7. Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

  8. Interface with Engineering and business owners for project requirements and scope.

  9. Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  2. 4+ years of software engineering, systems engineering or technical product/program management experience.

  3. Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery.

  4. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.

  5. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

  6. Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.

  7. Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience.

  8. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.

  9. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

  2. Experience building and using developer tools.

  3. Experience with or around software engineering, systems engineering or similar experience.

  4. Experience using data and analysis to drive automation and tooling improvements.

  5. Experience working with Privacy and Data controls tooling and processes

  6. Privacy related industry certifications

Public Compensation:

$102,000/year to $157,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
