The mission of the Facebook Risk & Payments Operations team is to enable anyone, anywhere to be able to pay and be paid with confidence. This can mean different things across our many payment products - from providing support to advertisers who need help paying their bill, helping charities onboard to receive donations, to identifying and resolving fraudulent transactions on our Marketplace.
Our Emerging Products team is responsible for building a risk and support strategy for new products leveraging payments at Facebook. We partner with multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Ops, Analytics, Legal, Policy, and Finance to ensure new products successfully launch and succeed. The successful Program Manager will be responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of the program's output/product.
Develop project schedules based on the product requirements, technical challenges, tooling lead-times and business needs
Collaborate with our Risk and Payment Operations Teams in determining Risk & Support requirements that allow new products and features to scale
Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks
Manage a series of complex projects and coordinate new product support across numerous operations stakeholders
Influence and lead efforts with key cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Design, Policy and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phase of product life cycle
Engage with the various teams to identify, scope, constraints, dependencies, risk management and deliver global projects
Identify resources needed and works closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of the project schedule and potential roadblocks
Engage with the various teams to identify optimization
Become an expert in core risk and support infrastructure, tools, systems, and data
Work with project leaders to develop best practices and production processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment
Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review
3+ years' experience in Program Management
3+ years' experience working with cross-functional teams
3+years' experience working in Operations
Experience in and knowledge of payments industry
2+ years' experience creating strong customer experiences
