Facebook Media Operations Intern in Mountain View, California

Summary:

The Media Operations team develops solutions for public figures on Facebook and Instagram by creating scaled systems to address the issues impacting their experiences with the suite of Facebook products, and packaging these insights for the rest of the company. This is a great team with a lot of energy and momentum. The position is for a full-time internship and based in Mountain View, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Collaborate with members of the Media Operations team as well as Product Managers, Strategic and Research Partners

  2. Partner with those people to develop a structured, actionable project plan

  3. Analyze relevant data and effectively summarize insights

  4. Present findings, next steps, and impact clearly to company leaders

  5. Deliver against the plan in collaboration with teammates

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with graduation dates between Dec. 2019-Aug. 2020

  2. Experience meeting objectives without supervision

  3. Experience in a support role or operations-oriented environment

  4. Experience in SQL and/or other data tooling

  5. Experience developing strategic solutions

  6. Experience juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment

  7. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

  8. Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship/co-op
