Facebook Content Planning and Strategy Lead, Media Partnerships in Mumbai, India

Summary:

People around the world use Facebook to discover videos from their favorite publishers and creators, from entertainment, to sports, to news. Facebook is seeking a Content Planning & Strategy Lead for the Media Partnerships organization in India who is passionate about building new, social video experiences for publishers, creators and their audiences. This is a full-time position located in Mumbai or Gurgaon, India.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead planning for video content partnerships, and establish operational processes for identification, prioritization and ongoing evaluation of partnerships and initiatives

  2. Build high functioning collaboration with the India media partnerships team responsible for video partnership evaluation and prioritization

  3. Work collaboratively with global vertical and regional partnerships teams, product management, marketing and finance to establish ongoing video partnerships performance management processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years of experience working on media and technology, with leadership experience working on digital video

  2. Experience in video content valuation, negotiations, content development/production, broadcast operations and/or project management

  3. Understanding of content rights landscape and media environment, digital business models and consumer Internet/technology space

  4. Analytical skills and familiarity with both industry and Facebook-related data / metrics

  5. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with cross-functional business partners, leads and peers

  6. Ability to multi-task on projects across various teams and to turn insights into action

  7. Track record of leadership and hands on video business experience for global organizations

  8. Interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships inside and outside Facebook

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

  2. Past experience in negotiating content rights, production and commercial contracts or demonstrated skills in conceptualizing and executing content programs at scale, exposure to multi-genres and cross-media experience.
