Facebook seeks a policy professional to work on the intersection of taxation and the digital economy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Indian and global taxation law, and will have an advanced understanding of emerging technologies, international data politics, and digitalized business models - including their remote presence, reliance on intangibles and data, and user participation. S/he should be familiar with global tax issues including the OECD Model Tax Convention, the BEPS framework, and EU digital tax policies as well as national issues such as the 'digital equalization levy,' the 'significant economic presence' nexus, and digital taxation under the proposed Direct Tax Code. The successful candidate will work with Facebook's global and local public policy team as well as with cross-functional teams across the world. S/he should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure, multicultural environment across multiple time zones.This is a full-time position and will be located at our New Delhi office.

Identify, monitor, and analyze tax related policy issues.
Provide inputs to Facebook teams towards the development of our products and policy positions which have tax related implications.
Execute our policy strategy, working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Represent Facebook in meetings with key external stakeholders.
Communicate Facebook’s positions in public presentations on related topics.
Professional degree in Accountancy, Commerce/Finance, Law, Public Policy, Economics, or related field.
8+ years of professional experience.
Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.
Analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional management experience.
Project management experience.
Qualified Chartered Accountant.
Experience with a global tax consultancy or multinational business, law firm, or public policy organization.
