Facebook Director, Commerce Platform Partnerships in New York, New York

Summary:

Facebook is seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to drive growth throughout our commerce surfaces including Facebook Marketplace and Instagram Shopping. This individual will manage a team of high-performing Strategic Partner Managers specifically focused on deepening engagement with eCommerce platforms to accelerate product adoption and extend complementary capabilities. Success requires ability to build meaningful relationships with ecosystem stakeholders; and engage at the C-suite level to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Within our company, this leader must also drive results cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, marketing and operations to expand capabilities, optimize user experience, and reduce barriers to partner success.Candidates should be deeply passionate about commerce and enabling a variety of new shopping experience for both our partners and our community of people. This is a full-time role based in our main office in Menlo Park, California.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead our Commerce Platform Partnerships team across our family of apps

  2. Build relationships with Commerce platform providers and other e-commerce companies

  3. Identify new partners and negotiate business and technical terms

  4. Collaborate with product and engineering to identify and implement growth opportunities

  5. Inform, influence, support, and execute key product development decisions

  6. Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to build opportunities and experiences that create scale and meaningful ecosystem value

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years experience within the commerce platforms and business development space

  2. Experience managing and developing individual contributors to achieve outcomes

  3. Experience communicating ideas to external and internal audiences around partnership opportunities for Facebook in commerce

  4. Knowledge of influencing change across organizations

  5. Demonstrated experience with industry media and conference engagement

  6. Quantitative and qualitative analytical experience coupled with knowledge of operating principles

  7. Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization

  8. Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience
