Global Business Marketing is the Facebook team tasked with sharing our mission-based story with brands, agencies and businesses around the world - AKA the best marketers in the world. We’re looking for a bold and prolific creative leader with a strong POV to plan and lead our largest business efforts across our brands – Facebook, Instagram, and others. With an ambition to create powerful, impactful cultural ideas, we need someone who is equal parts idea generator, craftsman and problem solver as we reimagine how Facebook and our family of apps and services go-to-market.
You should be passionate for marketing and not just advertising and have a sincere desire to innovate and change the way businesses connect to their customers. You should be an inspirational leader to teams but also a maker at heart who understands how to build a cohesive and impactful brand story across many different channels, including a deep understanding of our own. We focus on both the small details and the big picture of how we’re presenting ourselves so you need to be comfortable moving fast and making things.
Lead a team to build breakthrough, cultural insight-driven global programs comprised of advertising, events, partnerships, education, content, product and beyond
Conceptualize and create campaigns to communicate to a variety of different audiences in agencies, brands, small businesses and industry partners
Lead and direct both internal and external teams executing across mediums of video, digital, print, presentation and live events
Inspire and coach team members in order to raise the bar on our overall creative and strategic thinking
Continually drive and live best practices for building the best creative in a digital/mobile marketing environment
Work with marketing teams to ensure briefs are tight and will drive to the best work
Accountable for ensuring work across their team is on brief, on brand, and of the highest quality
Attract, hire, develop, and grow the best creative talent
12+ years of experience in brand marketing or advertising as a copywriter or art director
Experience building or leading global work
Experience developing creative assets applied across more than one medium
Experience conceptualizing ideas from ideation to launch
Communication, presentation, and white boarding experience
Knowledge of brand marketing and how to build marketing strategies
