Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced leader to help build and manage a team of professionals who sell and manage Facebook’s marketing solutions to large advertisers for the FMCG Vertical in France. The perimeter includes all our platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and What’s App. This is a unique opportunity to help build, manage and coach a high performing team and have a dramatic impact on the company's growth. Ideal candidates will have a background in leading teams, as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online and offline marketing solutions such as TV/Radio/Print as well as integrated sponsorships and display advertising. The knowledge of the French ecosystem is required. You will be an integral part of the leadership team responsible for sales planning and a strategic partner with customer marketing, product and engineering and business operations.

Required Skills:

  1. Play a critical role in building, training and managing a high performing organization

  2. Manage a direct team of 5 direct reports, and manage cross-functional interactions with key teams supporting our business (Engineering, Product Marketing, Creatives, What’s App, etc…)

  3. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

  4. Establish financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic plan

  5. Prospect and penetrate large organizations and start-ups to obtain brand and direct response advertising

  6. Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions (all platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and What’s App)

  7. Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions

  8. Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service

  9. Participate in strategic conversations in leadership teams in France and in Southern Europe

  10. Participate and influence on our strategies for the FMCG strategies at EMEA level.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 15 years + of experience in Marketing/Sales and Management

  2. Strong management, analytical and planning skills

  3. Knowledge of FMCG ecosystem

  4. Relationships with top marketing decision makers at companies and agencies

  5. Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  6. Understand user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms

  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills

  8. Fluent French / English speaker

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Online or Advertising Sales strongly preferred.
