Facebook Data Project Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary:

The AR/VR team at Facebook is helping people around the world come together and connect through world-class Augmented and Virtual Reality hardware and software. With global departments dedicated to VR research, computer vision, haptics, social interaction, and more, AR/VR team is committed to driving the state of the art forward through relentless innovation. Required Skills:

  1. Establish process and quality standards for the data labeling team, quantify and evaluate success, and develop KPIs and guide tracking efforts for ongoing measurement, develop training manuals and reporting

  2. Manage external data labeling teams and give regular feedback

  3. Engage in strategic discussions to identify problems, measure and improve the quality of workflows

  4. Identify opportunities to improve tooling and implement scalable solutions

  5. Maintain a culture of high quality output and exceptional customer service: effectively communicate at all levels, ensure that work gets done well and on time, respond to unexpected obstacles and reallocate resources as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 1+ years experience of driving data quality standards in consumer-oriented product environment, consulting, or operations role

  2. 1+ years experience in project coordination or project management

  3. Bachelor's and/or Master's degree

  4. Experience working with large data sets

  5. Experience with communication and presentations

  6. Experience working with research teams

  7. Experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with SQL

  2. Experience working independently and a track record of taking initiative

  3. Intermediate knowledge of anatomy/anatomical structures
