Facebook Operations Program Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania


Facebook Reality Labs is looking for an Operations Program Manager with a strong emphasis on onboarding, recruitment and vendor relations to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, well-rounded individual who works well in a team and will represent the face and values of the company. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional partners in HR, Legal and Recruiting to facilitate a seamless interview and onboarding experience and support the change process as new project needs evolve. The ideal candidate has exceptional organizational skills, can manage tasks independently and is self-motivated. This candidate should also be able to deal with ambiguity and can use their instincts and experience to identify, assess and solve problems, quickly and frequently. The ideal candidate shows genuine care and takes ownership in providing the best experience for candidates, staff and visitors.

Required Skills:

  1. Onsite management of local intern program. Track candidates in process, screens, interviews and project outlines, on-boarding, orientation, assist with event logistics and swag.

  2. Administer new hire orientation and manage on-boarding process for all new employees. Send welcome email, desk setup, swag distribution, add to distribution lists, g-suite, workplace groups, training, office tour, coordinate with IT for equipment and lab announcements.

  3. Facilitate the hiring of all vendor and contractor roles, including interview process, SOW execution and on-boarding.

  4. Oversee and assist with the submittal process for publication review and collaboration review engagements.

  5. Coordinate lab team layout and desk assignments.

  6. Coordinate internal, external meetings and assist with events.

  7. Demo Specialist to administer demos to interview candidates, new hires and visitors to the lab.

  8. Support the onsite recruiting team to streamline the recruiting process for the Pittsburgh lab.

  9. Work with onsite and remote recruiting teams to track open positions, work with hiring managers, and coordinate candidates in process.

  10. Manage interview loops on site. Coordinate with recruiting and hiring managers to ensure the interview loops meet FRL Pittsburgh requirements. Greet candidates and manage interview day to ensure a positive candidate experience.

  11. Miscellaneous operational tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience prioritizing multiple assignments simultaneously.

  2. Communication experience.

  3. Experience multi-tasking.

  4. Computer knowledge and comprehension scheduling and calendar management experience.

  5. Experience organizing off-site events.

  6. Experience with space management.

  7. Knowledge of recruiting pipelines.
