The Facebook AR/VR Financial Planning & Analysis team oversees investments in headcount, operating expenses and capital. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry. Successful candidates for this team have a bias towards action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast.
The Facebook AR/VR Finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to support the management of Facilities Capital spend across multiple sites. In this role, you will lead financial analyses and support across multiple locations. You will provide strategic decision-making support both related to short-term and long-term real estate capital investments. Successful candidates for this role will need strong finance & accounting skills, leadership experience, interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong Excel and presentation skills are required. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and interaction with management, as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing AR/VR Finance organization. This role is located in Redmond, WA.
Be the strategic finance partner to assist teams across AR/VR with strategic decision-making and financial oversight for capital facilities builds
Support building the bottoms-up budget, forecast and long-range strategic plan for AR/VR Facilities, using Budgets and Long Range plans as the basis for strategic analysis
Analyze impacts of changes to roadmap or facilities requests
Understand, impact, and influence business investment decisions through detailed financial analysis
Lead projects that deliver improvements in productivity and accuracy, as well as reduce expenses
Work closely with the Infrastructure Finance and Accounting teams to ensure tight capital project finance controls
Develop monthly budget review presentations, excel models and ad-hoc analyses for the business
Own related reporting, trends and KPI’s with business partners, including providing data driven operational recommendations
Create strong business partnerships with AR/VR and Facilities leadership
6+ years of financial analysis experience
FP&A experience – including Budgeting, Long Range Planning, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis
Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating concepts to leadership
Experience working and problem solving independently, organizing workload and prioritizing, and completing tasks on time
Experience partnering with and influencing functional leaders
Experience with building financial models in Excel
Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle and Hyperion
Experience in applicable accounting concepts and financial planning
