Facebook Regional Health and Safety Manager in Redmond, Washington


Facebook’s Consumer Hardware Research Laboratories is seeking Health and Safety Manager to support growing Redmond, WA campus. The Health and Safety Manager will oversee and implement health and safety initiatives across multiple buildings. The H&S Manger partners with site leadership, lab managers or support functions to execute H&S policies, standard and processes. This role is accountable for implementation and execution of site level compliance, managing incident investigation and corrective actions.

Required Skills:

  1. Oversee daily H&S initiatives including chemical safety, automated machinery, risk assessment

  2. Develop and implement operational H&S programs, SOPs and trainings to support complex R&D environment

  3. Implement corporate EHS programs at impacted locations

  4. Develop and implement operational risk assessment for automated equipment including robotics

  5. Support radiation safety programs, including laser and X-ray safety

  6. Provide technical support to key stakeholders

  7. Serve as emergency response coordinator for specified locations

  8. Maintain all regulatory documentation for H&S compliance

  9. Develop and implement process improvement projects

  10. Ensure compliance to all applicable H&S regulations including

  11. Provide oversight for vendor workers

  12. Support Global Facebook AR/VR EHS team on special projects

  13. Ability to travel 15%

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS Degree Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field

  2. Minimum of 5 years experience managing H&S initiatives at R&D or industrial facility

  3. Experience managing across multiple locations

  4. Experience in Washington Labor and Industries

  5. Knowledge in Microsoft Office
