We are seeking a highly quantitative, driven, process and detail oriented Business Planning & Operations Associate who will serve as a member of Facebook's Central BP&O Team. The role will be part of the International Business Planning & Operations group, with a day to day focus on LATAM.
The Business Planning & Operations Associate will work cross-functionally with several organisations at Facebook (including sales, business operations and business intelligence), with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective and analytically driven decisions as well as optimization of key processes in the region.
The successful candidate will combine strategic and operational planning, analysis and decision-making skills with highly analytical insights. They will be expected to work well independently, breaking down problems, finding patterns through both qualitative and quantitative insights, sharing findings with cross-functional partners, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
They will coordinate key sales processes such as annual planning, conduct revenue opportunity analysis to identify short and long-term growth opportunities in the Region and support in optimization of other processes in the region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, interested in advertising, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects. This is a full-time position and to be based in Sao Paulo.
Use data to identify market and product trends and insights proactively, surfacing opportunities
Conduct revenue analysis to identify trends and factors of growth
Run, develop and/or improve core processes
Provide deep analytic support and business context to identify and drive critical growth initiatives
Monitor forecasts and benchmark performance while understanding the sources of deviation
Influence outcomes and decisions (not just report on analytics)
Autonomously handle ad-hoc requests from the business
Drive annual planning process
2 or more years of experience with quantitative research, data analysis, qualitative research, or data manipulation
Fluent in English and Portuguese
Experience problem-solving individually or in a group setting and understanding key drivers of the business
Ability to design, lead and execute analysis and effectively communicate insights
Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
Experience communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Advanced MS Excel skills
Six Sigma qualifications
Fluency in Spanish
Fluency in SQL
Experience with statistical analysis
