Facebook is looking for a proven marketing leader and brand-builder with commensurate agency experience to lead a dispersed regional team in partnering with the world’s largest and most sophisticated marketers and their agencies, enabling them to maximize their business and brand-building potential on the Facebook platforms. The position will report into the Vice President, Global Client Partnerships, and will be located in our São Paulo office.The ideal candidate will be an experienced and inspirational leader, who has strategic vision that enables both the success of the internal team and the growth of Facebook’s biggest partners. This person will have applicable management experience within a sales environment as well as extensive knowledge in marketing, measurement and creativity. They will be a natural leader who can gain the credibility and confidence of a high-performing team.
Lead a team of Regional Client Partners and Regional Solutions Partners responsible for driving growth across the LATAM region
Lead a high performing team of senior sales professionals across multiple countries in the region
Coordinate across regional Global Business Solutions team leadership and cross functional teams servicing as the voice of category solutions for the region
Serve on the LATAM leadership team, providing strategic guidance and leadership across the region
Drive deployment of global category strategy throughout Latin America
Earn a place as a trusted advisor to our clients by partnering with them to understand their business objectives and help define where and how Facebook can play a role in achieving them
Provide thought-leadership and mentorship on overall account planning, partnership development and resource request business cases
Partner with local, regional and global clients/agencies and educate FBHQ and XFN partners on resources and tools required to deliver for these clients
Ensure global alignment of teams and stakeholders both internally and externally to drive the highest levels of client service and impactful performance
Provide guidance and leadership on deal structure for all global accounts
Create and deliver client and agency presentations and internal POV’s/updates
Represent Facebook at key clients events and in speaking engagements both large and small.
Minimum 20+ years of experience in marketing, creative agency or media agency
Sales management experience required
LATAM experience required
Experience in managing international accounts and/or teams
Deep marketing knowledge and proficiency is required
Natural empathy for clients' and agencies' jobs to be done with an understanding of the agency ecosystem and the essentials of media planning and buying
Experienced and innate problem solver
Proven leadership ability to influence, coach and empower employees to achieve their best
Highly collaborative and with the ability to deliver the very highest service levels and successes to these demanding and valued clients and evolve global relationships from beginning stages of their life cycles into high performing maturity
30-40% travel required
Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Brand-building/performance background agency or client company preferred
BA/BS and MBA preferred
