Facebook Industry Manager, E-commerce in São Paulo, Brazil

Facebook is seeking an experienced sales leader with demonstrated success managing large business categories on a national and long-term scale. The Industry Manager will manage the Facebook's monetization of several clients’ business within the Ecommerce Industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategical, creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their teams. They will build and manage a small, strategically focused/consultative sales team, selling Facebook’s suite of advertising solutions to leading Ecommerce clients. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, successfully manage teams and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

Ideal candidates will have a consistent management experience as well as extensive experience selling or buying cross-network online marketing solutions such as direct response, branding, integrated sponsorships, and display advertising.

Required Skills:

  1. .Work cross-functionally with In-Market teams, Global Regions, Business Operations, Platform, Measurement/Metrics, and Product Marketing to optimize our client efforts

  2. Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of client needs

  3. Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Facebook to clients for both B2C and B2B marketing

  4. Identify the winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the vertical

  5. Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

  6. Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies

  7. Build, train and maintain a high performing team

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. .

  2. 10+ years marketing and sales experience in the Ecommerce Inudustry

  3. 5+ years digital media sales experience

  4. 5+ years people management experience

  5. Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft media strategy

  6. Strong leadership/management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams

  7. Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships

  8. Strong understanding of the advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends

  9. Skilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands

  10. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data in to client value

  11. Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  12. Proven ability to forge relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies

  13. Demonstrable success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems

  14. Avid Facebook user and knowledge of the media landscape, reseller channels and vertical markets
