Facebook seeks an experienced leader with a background in product marketing to lead a global team focused on our video and brand advertising solutions. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, skilled operator, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus across product, marketing and sales teams. This individual will lead global planning for the portfolio, synthesize market feedback for product development and collaborate with key stakeholders to set go-to-market priorities and product adoption goals.
The ideal candidate will have a history of building and leading high performing teams, have a deep understanding of the video & brand advertising ecosystems, and be a cross-functional team player comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment. This position may be based out of our Menlo Park, CA, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, or Austin, TX offices.
Develop and manage a world-class Product Marketing team
Play a key role in developing the holistic multi-half business strategy for our brand, video & stories ads businesses across the family of apps & services
Create multi-year, annual and semi-annual plans to drive business growth through this portfolio of solutions tailored for various customer segments & industries
Distill market feedback into market intelligence that informs product roadmap, consulting with Product-facing teams to help shape feature development based on industry needs
Develop detailed go-to-market strategies and documents for focus area(s), working cross-functionally with teams around the world in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Business Development, Partnerships, Measurement & Analytics
Partner with our global sales channel, agencies, and advertisers to drive understanding and advertiser adoption of products
Partner with the Product Marketing team, based in London and California, to help roll out new products and features
15+ years experience in strategy, general management, product or marketing roles
Experience in mobile, digital, video and/or TV
Experience building and managing global teams. Experience selecting, attracting, motivating, retaining, and developing leaders and team members
Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers
Experience communicating the benefits of various marketing strategies to business audiences
Experience bringing products to market and their adoption with a focus on client service
