Facebook Project Manager, Recruiting Operations (AR/VR) in Seattle, Washington

Summary:

The AR/VR Recruiting Team supports the global hiring of professionals across teams such as Oculus, Spark AR, and Portal by Facebook. It is the goal of these teams to create and ship new, category-defining consumer hardware and software products that are immersive, social, and define our consumer’s daily experiences. We hire experts who drive innovation in the areas of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), artificial intelligence (AI), connectivity, and more, across Hardware, Software, Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Facebook Reality Labs (FRL). As Project Manager - Recruiting Operations on our AR/VR Recruiting Team, your work will be instrumental in our ability to scale our business, working towards our mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.

Required Skills:

  1. Drive process improvements within recruiting: Work with our AR/VR Organizations to optimize and execute our recruiting strategies and process improvements.

  2. Establish project plans and strategic planning templates to achieve the desired business outcomes, providing a centralized view across the recruiting team.

  3. Assist with escalated issues on priorities, goals, strategies, resources and key initiatives as relate to AR/VR Recruiting.

  4. Coordinate Recruiting tools development and management by representing our team’s needs with People Operations and engineering teams for internal tools.

  5. Serve as a strategic partner to recruiting and engineering teams to help us scale and evolve programs aimed at hiring people from underrepresented groups.

  6. Streamline internal communication strategies and channels for AR/VR Recruiting.

  7. Coordinate with the Recruiting Programs and Operations Team members to develop and implement global internal communication strategies, messages, tools and cascade mechanisms.

  8. Prepare presentations for delivery to specific audiences, e.g., monthly updates, leadership monthly recruiting updates and business updates.

  9. Advise AR/VR Recruiting leaders on approaches to effectively communicate priorities to the Business leaders.

  10. Develop and execute recruiting knowledge sharing processes and procedures, including content management through our internal channels (e.g. Recruiting WIKI content, team tribes, meetings, etc.).

  11. Act as a resource and subject matter expert for knowledge sharing best practices, leveraging other internal and external resources.

  12. Develop, manage, and implement an educational program to improve interviewer capabilities tailored to each business area.

  13. Analyze recruiting data and metrics, identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of our hiring strategies.

  14. Partner in the design and development of recruiting programs and provide recommendations based on key data insights and trends to recruiting teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of project management experience with focus on Recruiting, HR or Operations.

  2. Experience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software).

  3. Experience with business process management, workflow, and life cycle management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years’ work experience designing reporting & analytics, providing insights and using data visualization tools.

  2. Experience with compiling, analyzing and capturing insights from data to support business decisions.

  3. Demonstrated passion for diversity & inclusion.

  4. PMP and Six Sigma certification and/or relative project management/process improvement experience.

  5. Experience working independently with minimum supervision and leading multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations/vendors.

  6. Creativity in problem-solving, resourcefulness, ability to be detail-oriented, strong organizational skills.

  7. Experience influencing and communicating cross-functionally.
