As such, Facebook is a powerful way for companies to reach consumers and advertise their products and brands, leveraging the power of word of mouth recommendations. Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced leader to help build and manage a team of professionals who work and manage Facebook’s marketing solutions to large advertisers for the Financial, Media & Entertainment and Telecoms & Tech verticals in Sweden. The perimeter includes all our platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and What’s App. This is a unique opportunity to help build, manage and coach a high performing team and have a dramatic impact on the company's growth. Ideal candidates will have a background in leading teams within the Telecom industry, experience in navigating complex organizations, managing multiple senior stakeholders and Facebook is seeking an experienced business leader with demonstrated success managing established and emerging business categories. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their teams. They will have achieved success as leaders of change/operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems. In the role, they will build and manage a strategically focused/consultative sales team, selling Facebook upper and lower funnel advertising solutions to partners. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity and successfully managing teams with problem-solving leadership and limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management experience, a deep understanding of the Telecom ecosystem, and experience in a sales environment.The position will be based in our Stockholm office.

Required Skills:

  1. Play the lead role in developing the Swedish Financial, Media & Entertainment and Telecoms & Tech verticals at Facebook

  2. Responsible for architecting strategies with business analytics to grow the categories and help drive initiatives and future growth.

  3. Establish financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic plans.

  4. Manage a direct team of 5-8 direct reports and work cross-functionally with In-Market teams in Business Operations, Measurement, Solutions Engineering and Product Marketing to optimize our efforts in this category

  5. Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of clients’ needs

  6. You will be an integral part of the leadership team responsible for sales planning and a strategic partnership.

  7. Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and narratives that demonstrate the value of Facebook to Financial, Media & Entertainment and Telecoms & Tech clients and their agencies

  8. Influence and identify our strategies for telco’s and scale them throughout the verticals, region, Nordics and Northern European level and globally

  9. Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

  10. Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with brand focused partners

  11. Build, train and maintain a world-class, high performing team

  12. Develop operational and forecasting excellence for the team

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years’ experience from business development/product owner within the Telco industry.

  2. 8+ years of strong management experience, with analytical and planning skills

  3. Deep knowledge of Telco ecosystem & industry.

  4. Demonstrated experience using data and insights to craft strategies

  5. Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams

  6. Knowledge of digital advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends

  7. Experience presenting to C-Level executives with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client value

  8. Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  9. Proven track record as a leader of change by introducing performance measures, processes and systems

  10. Fluency in English and Swedish

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advertising/Marketing experience in a traditional, brand-focused environment

  2. Data/analytics driven with experience communicating the benefit of marketing/media opportunities to brands

  3. Ability to forge relationships with marketing leaders and C-suite partners at brands and agencies

  4. Facebook user with knowledge of the media landscape, reseller channels and vertical markets

  5. MBA in business or economics
