Hardware Engineer Responsibilities:
Work with local and remote teams and suppliers in developing CPU/GPU/ASIC based compute hardware solutions meeting quality and time to production requirements.
Lead the design, bring-up, NPI builds, validation, RCCA, and improvement of hardware platforms with Meta’s system suppliers.
Improve Meta’s system suppliers’ process, efficiency, capability, and consistency in engineering.
Collaborate with the open source hardware community to drive innovation for large scale infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or related Engineering Degree, with 6+ years of industry experience.
6+ years of experience with development and bring-up of data center system equipment.
6+ years of experience with PCB design with both integrated and discrete circuits, and high-speed interfaces.
Experience with analyzing and resolving system hardware issues across engineering disciplines such as mechanical, thermal, power, signal integrity, system firmware, and server management.
Experience with industry standard EDA tools for developing and reviewing PCB designs.
Experience in working with peers in local and remote settings.
Experience with design and troubleshoot data buses used in servers such as PCIe, CXL, DDR, SAS, SATA, I2C.

M.S. in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
4+ years of experience with owning and delivering a complete hardware enclosure as technical lead with other cross functional teams in engineering, program, and operation.
Familiar with server system architecture of one of major CPU/GPU suppliers.
Experience with using high speed scope, logic analyzer, and other validation methods in validating and troubleshooting server data bus (e.g. PCIe, SAS, SATA).
Knowledge of using Linux for hardware validation and troubleshooting.
Experience with leading thermal, mechanical, management firmware, system firmware, and software teams during product development.
Experience with designing ASIC verification & bring up hardware.
