Facebook is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Leader to join the Workplace team (a SaaS start-up within Facebook) to lead both the Sales Development and Inside Sales teams across APAC. Workplace by Facebook is an enterprise communications platform that enables employees at any organization to collaborate and communicate using many of the same features available on Facebook. Launched in 2016, Workplace is growing quickly, with thousands of companies around the world now using Workplace to connect their employees and work seamlessly across teams and geographies. This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Head of Workplace, APAC.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and the potential that Workplace has to transform organisations through more natural ways to communicate and collaborate. They will have a proven track record of growing new SaaS solutions across APAC through implementing a sales-oriented, demand management practice as well as leading high volume, high velocity sales motions in the mid-market segment. We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, thinker who can drive results through operational excellence and is able to move fast while keeping focused on go-to-market execution. This person will mentor and coach the team to mastery of these strategies and tactics.
This is a hands-on leadership role which requires excellent business and technical skills to build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns as well as drive inside sales performance. This person will partner with cross-functional teams (including operations, marketing, finance and product engineering), with the primary objective of enabling Workplace to scale across the region and attract and retain the most valuable and active client user base on the Workplace platform.
Lead a combined team of high-performing Sales Development professionals to build sales pipeline for the regional sales teams as well as lead Inside Sales professionals to deliver high growth through Workplace adoption across the mid-market segment
Lead operational execution, sales performance, forecasting, and strategic coaching
Navigate short and long-term sales cycles across multiple lines of business & departments within an organisation at a high velocity
Build outbound prospecting campaigns to build pipeline as well as tactical sales plays to accelerate customer adoption across the diverse APAC region
Deep product expertise, visionary and creative, to work with our product team on the product vision and roadmap
Drive adoption of Workplace by partnering with cross-functional teams in product, marketing, and client success to develop global playbooks that clearly articulate best practices
8+ years of experience in SaaS space, with strong preference experience in B2B growth companies
Significant leadership and people management experience
Proven track record of successfully building and optimizing sales processes while exceeding high sales targets
Experience deploying SaaS platforms across enterprise or mid-market organizations and driving long-term engagement
Passion for enterprise software, great products, start-ups, and the business of innovation
Keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive actions plans, communications
Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Facebook
Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
Strong analytical ability and outstanding written and oral communications skills
BA/BS degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
