Summary:

The Infrastructure Services Operational Support (ISOS) program management team collaborates with infrastructure teams to deliver transformational solutions. We optimize and evolve processes, elevate work through tooling, and efficiently execute critical tasks. We enable others to have impact by solving problems associated with building Facebook infrastructure and operating efficiently at scale. In this role you will work closely with FB Data Center teams and key Infrastructure business stakeholders to devise technical solutions for business problems and own delivery from concept to creation.This position will have national and international travel required.

Required Skills:

  1. Demonstrate strong understanding of the supported domain and conduct deep analysis of the problem space. Define process end-to-end and drive improvements for maximum impact.

  2. Lead process engineering and/or automation efforts to support cross-functional partners in operationalization and scaling efforts.

  3. Quantify operational issues, measure impact, prioritize development resources in areas that will deliver the greatest impact.

  4. Champion and provide oversight for initiatives during the technical delivery process and provide direct project management activities.

  5. Review operational challenges and help determine process efficiencies.

  6. Lead/support all business readiness activities, which may range from technical end user training or product testing, to business impact measurement, and internal communications.

  7. Elicit detailed business requirements by engaging the business to capture clear functional design artifacts using techniques like use cases, systems and data diagrams and process flow diagrams.

  8. Foster a culture of data driven decision making.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Excellent communication skills across wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrated attention to detail.

  2. Experience influencing stakeholders and partner teams, and experience collaborating with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies.

  3. Experience analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills with a clear experience focusing under pressure.

  4. Experience evaluating, defining and improving end-to-end processes.

  5. Be independent and thorough in examination and analysis, alongside results oriented and experience driving projects end-to-end independently.

  6. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.

  2. Work experience in Program Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space.

  3. Experience managing software development projects.

  4. Knowledge of compute, storage or networking technologies.

  5. Data center operations or infrastructure experience.
